Diagnosing a recurring heel pain correctly is important

When done with an efficient posture, each foot bears half to full weight of our body, in standing symmetrically and walking, respectively.

The weight, when it comes on the foot, is distributed to its heel at the back, to the middle part which is called as the arch and to the front part called as the toes.

With an inefficient standing and walking habit, repeated through most part of the day and then through months and years, this weight distribution pattern gets disrupted, leading to heel pain.

But unlike plantarfascitis, the ache, discomfort or pain experience doesn’t extend to the the soft tissues beneath the arch of the foot.

While a detailed analysis by a Physio is crucial, providing physiotherapy is not the solution for achieving reliable results in such a case.

A foot pressure analysis with an orthotist and getting the footwear modifications done as prescribed by them, is the ideal way to find stable relief over next few weeks.

For best analysis of repeating ankle and foot pain, book an appointment with a Physiotherapist and an Orthotist today, at Start Exercises Club.

Start Exercises Club is an initiative of New Delhi based Start Exercises Physiotherapy Services.
